I nearly forgot to thank my husband, sister, and best friend for being my first 3 followers. Thank you, Mike, Sis, and Stacey! Somehow, I thought my mom would make that list, but then I remembered that she doesn't have Internet access right now. So, you're forgiven mom.
In addition to making jewelry, I did a little "baking" for the holidays. I put baking in quotes, because my idea of baking does not involve an oven. It involves chocolate and a microwave and things that taste good when dipped into melted chocolate. I put a new twist on the baking this year by involving my two year old son in the process. It was twice the fun, and twice the mess. (Sidenote to anyone who may be eating the treats we made - he had his own bowl of chocolate so he was free to double-dip. Don't worry - I will not serve you pretzel rods that were made from double-dipped chocolate.)
Since I can't share my jewelry pictures with you right now, I will share some pictures of our holiday "baking". There is some crafting involved in this, as you will notice from the squiggles of chocolate that have been drizzled on top, so I think it's acceptable for me to share this here. Please don't underestimate squiggle placement.

*Disclaimer - These are pictures of the treats that I made last year. This year's treats are not quite as neat, due to the aforementioned toddler who was helping me. I was also too lazy to take pictures this year.
The toddler looked something like this:
